A few of us planning to go to grand national next april. Hotels are very expensive and nearly all booked up allegedly. Not looking for anything fancy, just clean, very little time will be spent in the room I hope. Any one on this forum stayed over for same weekend and would recommend any b&b or other suitable accommodation.

Try looking around New Brighton. Travel Lodge & B&B's there and trains every 15 minutes to Liverpool.
