    Hi there,

I've recently moved to a new house with Gas connection whereas I never been with BordGais before so signing account with them for the first time.
Currently, there are offer to switch both Electricity and Gas with each of them to get below discount:

    Dual ValueSaver with BordGais
    12% off electricity,
    10% off gas,
    a free boiler service AND
    €100 back off your bill!**

    Dual ValueSaver with ElectricIreland
    15% Discount on Electricity
    11% Discount on Gas
    plus
    €30 Online Switching Bonus

Please share your recent experience or suggest if it’s worthwhile to switch both Electricity and Gas account either with BordGais or with ElectricIreland or keep both of them separate to save maximum?

I'm not sure if there is any hidden charges or dodgy terms and condition once I signed won't save me much at end or if I switch both together will charge me higher per unit rate and then give me discount which at end will have no savings.
What would happen after that particular length of contract i.e. 12 months? Do I have pay higher rate afterward???

Is there any issue Level Pay Direct Debit what BordGais require to sign up in advance?

    Thanks a million in advance.
P.S: Please move this post to correct section if this is in wrong section of Borads.ie

Go to the cost compare website and put in your typical usage and it will calculate the best deal for you. All of the companies have different standing charges aswell so beware of that. I think Energia were best for me but that was my level of usage.
After twelve months your offer runs out and so should you, it goes to standard tariffs. Remember switchers save.

    Rgds
