Mushrooms growing through 6mth old Tarmac

Hi, Anyone think there is recourse with the people that layed the tarmac? Mares tail came through aswell but that is one tough sob so expected to show up but never expected mushrooms to come through. 6in-10in in height and made a little volcano out of the tarmac. Beside weed killer anything else that can be done ?
