    Would just straight barley be ok to give to cows post calving or would you want to balance it with soya or some protein grain.or would you be best off with just a dairy nut

    Any time we thought they needed anything they got some dairy nut..

    Gives them a boost in the milk. Could maybe feed 1kg barley and 1kg dairy nut

    A kilo of barley and good silage ad lib, when inside they'll get nothing until there in but are getting the best of the grass from here on In.
