Hi everyone. A friend of mine is looking for a female collie pup but it must have been born on or closely after the 9th of august this year. The date is important to this person. The dog will be going to a loving forever home. Any help in this would be great. Thanks noel

What part of the country are they in there are loads of collie pups in various dog pounds and rescues.

I agree with the above! A friend of mine went to rehome a collie a couple of years back but none of the rescues would take her because they say they have so many collies and not many people bringing them home!

TONS of them in rescue, pretty much all year around!

Why must it have been born on a specific date? That's 6 weeks ago, pups born on that date aren't old enough to leave their mother yet.

her old collie died on that date so she has her reasons. She knows that 6 weeks is too young to leave mother but she wants to make contact and try have everything organised for when the dog is old enough. Believe me this dog will be going to a very good home. Thanks for all the replies.

You know, you just made me realise - oddly enough - that we got Opie the same day Shadow was born.

Doesn't make me hate him any less, though :pac:
