Downton Abbey not available on UTV Ireland

    I've heard a few complaints about poor programming on UTV Ireland , but I can't believe they are not showing Downton Abbey tonight. It has a huge following in this country .

    Some Drongo in charge of programme scheduling made that decision.

    TV3 own the rights to it here. Why are you not complaining about them? UTV Ireland couldn't show it even if they wanted to.

    I looked this up and what's showing tomorrow on TV 3 is the final episode of last season.

    Anyone know if Season 6 will then start on TV 3 next Tues 29/9? I guess I will find out either way when their TV guide updates tomorrow, but I would have thought they'd have announcements plastered on their website.

    Tomorrows episode on TV3 is the first of the sixth and final series.
