Cheap bearing question.

    Hi guys,

    Starting a university project shortly that requires loads of moving parts.
    One section of the project has a weighted ball about the size of a pool table ball transported in a cart on metal rails.
    I'm thinking of having the cart sit on bearings which run along the rails, and will need about 20/30 bearings for the whole project, about 20x7x8mm in dimensions.
    Only problem is that these are proving to be extremely expensive. Quality or lifetime is not an issue here - dirt cheap the main objective.

    Does anyone here know a suitable place to source them on the cheap/second hand?
