Vodafone fibre problem

    I am on the 100 meg broadband only package from Vodafone and normally not an issue with it.
    Today the connection seemed to go down and reconnect for a few times.then around 2.30 it completely went.
    I unplugged it several times. And still nothing. I noticed there a while ago the internet light is not on either only power light and 2 Ethernet lights showing.
    Any ideas?

    At 2AM thats line damage. You arent syncing. Vodafone need to call for a tech, it'll be tuesday or wednesday before they get to ya.

    Sorry.
    Should have been more specific.
    It was 2.30 pm Saturday afternoon it stopped working.
    I am thinking the modem is dead.

    Oh I misread, sorry. Power + eth suggests the modem is online, connect a PC to ethernet and try and brows to 192.168.1.1/192.168.1.254. Thatll prove it works.

    KNN may have been doing an install for somebody in your area...In any case call now, get your place in the queue.
