Air Corp Technician Apprenticeships

I wonder if anyone here has any information on the current competition running for maintenance technician apprenticeships with the air corp. My son has passed all stages up to and including medical a few weeks ago. How long does it usually take for air corp to make the appointments? I would normally be happy to let these…

My son has passed all stages up to and including medical a few weeks ago. How long does it usually take for air corp to make the appointments?
I would normally be happy to let these things run their course unquestioned but he has had to accept a college course(air corps definitely first pref) as a second choice and is now under pressure to commit financially to the college course. Email communication with the only contact he has, has not received a reply.
