Hi, I'm looking to get my boiler service by a recommended RGI, I'm living in Tallaght area so preferably would like someone local, there's currently a fault on my boiler through research I found my Venturi needs cleaning. The boiler is a Vokera Mynute EHE. Thanks

Might not be Venturi. Could be the flue, fan, or other issues. Explain the issue to the Rgi when you book the service. Don't just assume a service will fix it

Vokera charge a minimum of 247.43 euro (paid in advance by c.card.) for a breakdown call out (including the parts, with the exception of the expansion vessel and the heat exchanger)
Boiler service would be an extra 59.02 euro.

Hi lads thanks for the replys!! IM a electrician so I checked for voltage at the fan pump ect and all is good,I've also done a continuity test and the MOD and Pressure differential switch dont bell out, I've took out the flue and inspected the Venturi tube which are all clear. Only when I open the cover assembly that has the viewing glass on it the boiler works grand.

Sorry D24, we cannot discuss illegal gasworks with you.

Messing with a gas boiler is a dangerous game to play.

You do not have the equipment to test the boiler after you have carried out this work, and the result can easily be either a level of lethal CO or a gas leak.
Please do not attempt this work illegally yourself. As a competent person, I feel you should know better.
