    Hello All,

If a person held a BA (hon) in addiction Counceling (level 8), would one be eligible to progress to a MA in Psychotherapy. Is it possible or would one have to obtain there primary degree in psychotherapy.

    Thanks very much :)

    I don't see why not.

A degree is psychology is not necessary for Psychotherapy. Although I think it should be.

Have you asked colleges, or looked at their entry requirements?

If it's a four year Masters then you will be ok, with your current qualification
