I use the Runtastic pro app to track my journey times, speeds, metres climbed etc etc.

I've heard about Strava and I'm wondering what I'm missing out on by using Runtastic instead?

    Can anyone help?

Edit I would appreciate it if a mod could correct the typo in the title. I tried deleting but I wasn't able to.

Don't use runtastic but do use Strava. I guess they both keep track of the same things, but as I see it the biggest thing about strava is the 'social' aspect of it where you can follow others / mates, and keep track of your (and their) times on various strava segments, comment on others' rides etc.
you wouldn't want to mind sharing a bit, or get hung up on others being faster / doing longer spins etc. there's always somebody faster than you😟
A bit like the facebook of cycling, but overall I enjoy the sharing/slagging.
About half the people I regularly cycle with are on strava.
I also find it motivates me a bit.
