New to cantilever brakes myself and I'm getting a bit of judder. Doesn't happen when it's wet or mucky. Someone mentioned toeing the pads in?

    Just found this

It's a symptom of canti brakes. Toeing in does help a bit. Just insert a bit of thin card between the back of the pad and the rim as you fix the position and tighten it.

Tektro mini-V will solve fork judder. Very inexpensive fix.

Judder with cantis and carbon forks is a known prob. Solution is as above or if hanger is mounted on head tube swap it for fork crown mounted one. It is caused by natural flex in carbon forks. Google it in relation to specialized tricross is well explained

Interesting. I see one of the reviews on CRC mentions how these can replace my current set up:
Replaced my ineffective Tektro Oyx cantilevers with these, using drop barred Shimano Sora levers - very straightforward job, they work extremely well. Wish they'd been fitted as original equipment. The black finish looks good too

Might do that. Have insane judder sometimes, despite messing about a fair bit, a steel fork too, not carbon.

It worked for me. I changed out the fork on my pit bike to an all-carbon Richey one. Well, it's flexy as can be. Cue incurable fork judder. Now I have trad cantis on the rear and mini-Vs on the front. Oh, a pro-tip: buy the noodle with the inline barrel adjuster. Makes for a much easier life.

Only downside of mini-Vs is that you won't see much travel. That means clearance is somewhat compromised. Although, on the front that can be less of an issue as your brakes are 'hidden' by the fork somewhat.

    Cheaper here perhaps: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Tektro+926AL
