I've searched this forum and I found a lot of threads from 2007-2009 discussing this, and the majority of people recommended it. Is it still well acknowledged, or has the bubble burst a bit?

How may of you have tried to adopt chi-running to your technique and how much do you think it helped, if at all? I'd love to hear how people got on, especially those who have been at it for a good few years.

Have you ever tried the Chi Running technique? 3 votes

I have done the workshop and found it great but I have also read the books Chi Running and Chi Marathon, and I would highly recommend both, particularly Chi Marathon. However I'm not an experienced runner but imo it helped me progress much quicker and stay injury free.

I did the catriona mc kiernan course and found it useful. Like anything you have to work on it a good bit, it just made me a bit more aware of the weaknesses I have. I do feel like I have made a few positive changes as a result.

Like much in life, it is not a magic bullet. The course, the advice given and the Chi running techniques are useful if you use them to improve your training and work on your weaknesses but funnily enough, you still have ot put in the work.

Not a runner but do run.......read the book and made Some of the changes as best I could. Changed from someone who pushed off with each leg, and over strides, to lifting up and 'falling' forwards. Not sure if that's how it looks but certainly the knee pain I used to get while running is drastically improved.
