    Hello Guys,

I have got weird issue with my car. 2 weeks ago the airbag light on dash so I went to mechanic he saw in his computer that the Passenger seat airbag fault, he couldn't fix it and he recommended me to go to Electrical guys. I went to electrical garage the guy ran the diagnose same thing got same fault he tried everything checked all the wires he said the car is fine, also he didn't fix it so he said ur best is to go to Skoda Main Dealer, Skoda will definitely help you with that. Well I decided I went there they diagnosed the car they came up with ( Fault in airbag unit from passenger side front seat belt ) They checked connections and all then they said it's fine no problems with any connection in ur car no electrical issues ( The guy said it seems computer fault and not a big deal ) but they sent a report to Skoda Manufacturer that they will tell them what they should do. My question : Does someone hit that issue before ? What about I go to someone rest the computer or whatever it is (In case Skoda will ask for huge amount to fix) ? Recommend me one please reasonable one please..

    Thanks

Did they try to clear the fault using a diagnostic machine?

Honestly I have no idea but they might try because I did ask the girl to tell them about reset it or something she said alright will talk with guys about it so all what I got is :

They did diagnose and they came out of Passenger front seat belt airbag fault and the guy told me we checked there is no error in connections everything is fine so the car showing fault which is not correct that's not the error so we will report to Skoda then back to u, they report Skoda and Skoda told them to replace the Airbag Control Unit for new one.

    The whole story.
