Skoda Superb '03 - Radio stuck in safe mode

    Hi guys,

I have a 03 Skoda superb, which was left idle for a few days.

When I got back into the car last night the radio (Symphony CD) was set to safe mode :(.

I think the radio may have been left on while the car was parked, so this probably set it into safe mode - just a guess.

Anyway, I have the code number and have tried putting this in using the station numbers and then the pressing the >> button, but it then reverts to safe mode.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get around this?

    Thanks

If after entering a code of 4 numbers your radio reverts back to SAFE then the numbers used are not the correct code . Look for someone in your area who can decode your radio.

Thanks iamthemanwork, this is the number that is o the card that is stored with the car documents, so was presuming it would be right - unless of course the radio has been changed at some stage.

Car going into garage during the week for something else , so will see if they can do anything with it.
