Anywhere in Dublin at a reasonable price?

I used to buy the golf tyres on camskill and get fitted for €15 a corner.

Now with BMW run-flats my local place will charge €50 a corner fitting and balancing and advanced pitstop won't even do it.

    Any suggestions?

I used Tyreland in Swords. New Michelin Run Flats for 520D were €145 a corner fitted and balanced. Next best quote was € 215.00 and over €245 after that.

Just rang there - they're only charging €15 a corner for fitting and balancing, even for run flats. Happy days.

The prices between what they charge here for run-flats and what you can get online is scandalous - 2 tyres cost me €450 online but here they want €720

that's a great price. Think I paid 240 to put a Bridgestone on my 520D

Edit: checked tyreland and it's 215 for my tyres.

Crazy Money indeed. They have a couple of branches and I've been using the Swords branch for the last 4 years and can't fault them.

Guys where would you go for fitting tyres?

I'm thinking to buy online this time but I want to understand how much it will cost me overall first :)

Ring and get a price from Tyreland or any other tyre provider near you.
As i said above I brought my tyres from them and it was €145.00 fitted and balanced a corner.

If you buy them online, as Theboinkmaster said above they will fit them and balance them for you for €15 each tyre.

    thanx @Balfey1972.

I also found www.redcowtyres.com who do the job for €10 including balancing and a new valve.

    Haha yeah right!

Bought 2 18" Michelin supersports on camskill for €422 plus fitting by tyreland kimmage €30 = €452.

BMW frank Keane blackrock wanted €860 for 2 rear tyres fitting, probably not as good ones also :p

Wow that's mental. I used to work in a BMW garage on the west coast and we routinely undercut the local Advance and others.

The same actually in the other garages I worked on. People assumed we'd be more expensive so we'd give them a couple of quotes and tell them to price around, more often than not theyd call back to have us put them on.
