Bungalow Leasehold In Apartment Development

    Hey,
Bit of a strange one here. I have put in an offer on a semi detached bungalow which is 1 of 4 in what is mostly an apartment block. If accepted I will only be able to purchase the leasehold. My reason for deciding to go with the place was more function over anything else as I am lucky at present that I can afford to buy this place without a mortgage.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this sort of setup. Mainly in terms of planning for any possible future modifications. For instance I was thinking in a few years I may want to extend the ceiling height to the roof and have 2 velux windows installed on the rear aspect of the bungalow.

    Thanks
