According to Nasa, 2015 was officially Earth's warmest Summer on record in the Northern Hemisphere.

Except for one little cold spot on the eastern Atlantic.

Not only that, August was the hottest on record too - http://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/comment.html?entrynum=3116
August 2015's warmth makes the year-to-date period (January - August) the warmest such period on record, according to both NOAA and NASA. NOAA said that August 2015 was the sixth month in 2015 to break its monthly temperature record, joining February, March, May, June, and July.

    Except somewhere nearby...guess..

Strange... 'cause Nasa says that June and July were the hottest on record and August was the second hottest on record?

To put this in perspective, here's the monthly temperature differences I've recorded so far this year, a pattern i'm pretty certain is mirrored across the country this year.

We really are having a sucky year temperature wise especially when considering how the rest of the world is faring.

I think there is slight differences in what NASA and NOAA are saying, very slight.

    From the article linked above:
. NASA rated August 2015 as the 2nd warmest August on record, a scant 0.01°C from tying August 2014's record mark.
