A huge inspiration for me growing up and still is, played a massive part in my interest in running. Never got to see him run but had the pleasure of meeting him numerous times when he came home for the summer, couldn't meet a nicer fella. RIP

One of the great limerick /irish middle distance
runners of thr 70s...ran against him at school level sad to see him pass away at such a young age..RIP
