I'm going to be 18 in just over a month . I've dropped out of school as a case of suffering with anxiety and depression is there any social welfare payments I would qualify for as my parents are constantly harping on about me getting a job but in my current situation I wouldn't suit a 9 to 5 job

Start with your GP re depression, you need to be available for work if you are to qualify for a social welfare payment.

    See here http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/disability_and_illness/disability_allowance.html

I was in a similar position recently. As mp22 said you have to be available to work to get JSA, but in some circumstances you might be entitled to disability benefit, which your doctor can discuss with you. Best of luck

I just applied for JSA and said nothing about my anxiety, then applied for jobs when I felt I was ready for it.
