Anyone ever used the company? Got a quote for full reburb and powdercoat on a set of 4 for 280 euro. Just wondering if they are any good as i havnt heard about them before.

Currently have a booking with carcozmetics for 250 euro but they dont powdercoat and i hear they are cowboys when it comes to good work.

I used Car Cosmetix in Sandyford OP if that is the company you have the booking with, I wouldn't go there again and wasn't happy with some minor dent repair/respray they did for me.

I am slow to post negative feedback and love to give recommendations but be very careful re the quality with this company.

No experience with said company, but I have had wheels refurb with Wheel Wizards and their work was spot on. Also, there are many who would agree.

+ 1 for wheel wizards in finglas

Used them about 2 months ago and perfect, very reasonably priced for such excellent workmanship.

Got a set of Merc exchange wheels about 6 months ago from Rim Solutions and they are the real deal! Superb quality and good service.

What kinda turnaround do Wheel Wizards have for 4 wheels? I can't really be without my car for too long...

    2-3 days usually, I think!

Is there anyone who could loan you a spare set? Steelies even?

Wheel Wizards lent me a set of wheels when I got my Da's wheels done by them last year sothe car was still mobile.

Excellent workmanship by them also. Cost was eur350 for 17" wheels then, don't know about now.

As Curran said, 2-3 days. I got my 335 alloys done by them and they gave me a spare set of alloys there and then and I was on my way within half an hour.

The MPS alloys will be lovely once they're done :)

I used alloy wheels in Bray last year. They totally refurbished 4no 16" alloys that were in very bad condition - two were buckled.
Good service and a good job. They gave me a loan of wheels which kept me going.
