What are the penalties if you decide to leave Tus scheme vs a vis social welfare payments?

They lied to me about the duties involved. On my feet on marble floors for day stacking shelves. Am not young and my feet are killing me afterwards. Told had to buy my own uniform cannot wear my ordinary clothes. I hate this! does not match my skill sets and I have no intention of ever working in a shop in the future. Fit for nothing afterwards even at the weekend!

Would it be better if the employer decided that I was not working out and told me to leave?

Sorry, I don't know the penalties for leaving early, but they did the same with my friend.
Told her a load of lies about her duties. She ended up washing dishes.
They are only concerned with getting people off the dole, and massaging unemployment numbers.
I assume that if you leave early, they will dock some of your benefits.

Would you consider going to a doctor about the effect of your working conditions on your health? Might be useful.

Going to the doctors to go sick is not the route you want to go. There maybe 9 week penalty however be honest. It shouldn't cost you money

How about writing down what you were promised, and then what you got or are doing. **(Note will let him see that you are serious and have a record of things) Just have it in your hand no need to show it to him unless he wants to see it, but keep a copy of it anyway.

**Then approach your supervisor and explain that the work you are doing is not what you were told you would be doing at interview and that its also totally unsuitable for you (for reasons you explained in your post OP) and ask to be given the type of work promised.

If no joy then say thank you very much and that you will now have to discuss the matter with social welfare and will be requesting them to allow you to with draw from this project in order to find a more suitable and productive one that will increase and enhance your present skills which hopefully will lead to a job.

Something like that, might put the wind up em.
