    I attended the first lecture of this last Monday and was amazed at how some people got into the course.

    We were greeted by the year head who introduced the course and the modules etc, then we had people ask 'how many semesters in a year' and people who didnt know if they were part time or full time

    The class was mixed with post grads and msc but jesus christ

    I felt sorry for some people who have no technical background and not that tech savvy, one of the 1st projects we have individually is to build a data warehouse.

    just wondering if its a headcount throughput thing for NCI because some people should have been told the depth of learning required for the course

    would be interested in anyone elses feedback if they were there

    It's the same as undergrad programmes such as Computing where in first year some people are not tech-savvy and think they can hack it but can't. The MSc in Data Analytics is a lot easier than getting into the other Computing MSc courses such as web tech, cloud computing to name just a few.
