This sportive is the Gold Standard.

    Included in entry is:
Breakfast, Tea and sambos at the top of the Wicklow gap, meal on return to Baldonnel and the best controlled and marshalled spin, that one could hope for.
And it remembers a great man.
As far as I know, entry is limited.

You also get the aircore helicopters flying about and a big army tent at the top of the Wicklow Gap

Didn't know breakfast was included....is there a webpage with that info on it somewhere?

I've done the Morgan Sparrow every year, that it's been on. Breakfast has always been included. I am assuming that this year will be no different, but open to correction. I can't find anything on line, but below is a link for a previous edition

    +1 on the above.

One of the best sportives in the country. I've done it 3 times since it started out as the 'Around the Mountains' event. Sadly, I won't make it this year but would encourage others to sign up. You will not go hungry! Its actually one of the only events where you could forget to bring your own food and get round on the food supplied by the Air Corps.

Oh, and the raffle afterwards. Everyone seems to win a prize - except me of course!:)

If your username is anything to got by, you'll love it. There are two tough climbs, Sally Gap and Wicklow Gap. Groups are kept together until bottom of climbs, and regroup after the climbs. The food stop is at the top of 2nd climb. after eating the groups are kept together until the finish, but it's all downhill or flat.
Each group has road captains and motorcycle marshals.
    You'll be grand.

According to their FB page, it appears, that it's the same course as last year.

At the risk of putting a hex on this, the forecast looks good:
