    Hi
My Dad asked me what I thought of this compressor compared to the 6 Litre one I bought 10 years ago. My one is a mickey mouse yoke, runs out of air a lot even pumping a wheel so no good for anything big.
This one in Lidl though I am not sure what is the main things to look out for when buying a compressor.

Then there are others, which are dearer but I can't see massive differences to justify it. Obvious point is that its 50L but delivers less suction power

    So any help appreciated.

What are you going to use it for?
Generally the more air the better, 100l is good 150l is better.
If its only for pumping tyres or the like the lidl one with 24l will do.
If you want to run air tools off it you will need a much bigger tank and a faster compressor.

You really should look at the CFM of the compressor and compare it with the CFM of the tools you will hoping to use with it . Either of those two compressors will pump a wheel , but for tools like impact guns , or air ratchets you really need to check the consumption against the output of the compressor . Personally I have no problem with the most of the tools at Lidl or Aldi and if used as intended can provide good value for money .

    Thanks lads.
It will be air tools for spraying timber and that.
So maybe the Lidl ones wont work.

The lidl one seems like it will deliver 3CFM, I'd think you need at least 10 for spraying, ths size of the tank matters less (as long as the pump can keep up) but 50l or above would be better.

Pity you didn't post a few weeks ago, I sold a mint Ingersoll Rand 100l /30cfm for someone for way less than it was worth (liquidation job).

The Parkside item 113 L/min is 4 cfm , the Jebb Tools item is 8 CFM , it should be fine for spraying for short periods of time . Depending on your budget you could consider looking at the next size up also . Adjusting the regulator to the correct output for your job will prevent you from wasting air .

Also, the lidl one (from the pic) doesn't look like it has a water trap on the regulator - if it even has a regulator.

Sprayed the dash on the house with one of the Aldi comps without any problem.
