Trouble cleaning an Aspire K1 tank

I have an Aspire K1, I use 100% VG juice and I find it impossible to clean the aspire. The VG juice leaves a sticky residue, I've tried steeping it in warm water and fairy-liquid but it has very little affect. It is impossible to get into the inside of the glass. Anyone got any ideas please?

Have you tried boiling hot water? VG gets quite runny with a bit of heat.

The K1 holds so little juice I would be driven half mad refilling one constantly. Tank it up ;)

Hot running water is your friend, I haven't met a juice yet that didn't dissolve in it.
Not boiling now, I think boiling would be too hot for the various plastics, but hot should be plenty, right out of the tap.

Milton should work but don't put it on metal,it will take the shine off of it.Vinegar should work as well...

I agree with you, I'm going crazy filling it and I think VG juice burns quicker. I'm thinking of getting a Kangertech Subtank Mini, it holds 4.5ml.

I'm thinking of getting a Kangertech Subtank Mini, it holds 4.5ml.
Great all round tank, and possibly the best tank package/value out there.
It will future proof you and allow to to normal vape on the 1.2ohm coils, sub ohm on the .5ohms coils (for bigger clouds) and even learn to rebuild with the included rebuildable base.
The airflow is the best I've seen, with three clickable settings and even then if you use the biggest hole, you can close it off to whatever size you like to really fine tune your airflow.
The only thing I don't like is the mouthpiece, which can get a bit wobbly and the o-rings which let liquid seep around between them and the glass, but not really leak out all over the place either.
They seem a bit pricey at €35, but the clone from fasttech is less than half that and just as good IMO (I have both).
One final thing, this tank will drink juice if you let it! (using the .5ohm coil for sure)

Didihno, just checking, to be sure, is it suitable for 100% VG

Absolutely get the Kanger subtank kit (updated plus version). The RBA is a great option to have on this tank and if you take to rebuilding the savings in coils pays for the kit over time.

I use it with the middle hole and a "vase" style drip tip and the draw is just right for me.

A bit more heat (20 watt+) will help with throat sensation too.

Well I've used 'max VG' juices in mine, which are 90%+ I believe.
So I'm not 100% sure on pure VG but I can't see it being too much of a difference.
Currently I have Fuu's Vapybear in my Subtank Mini and its wicking no problem on stock coils, maybe a little too slow on the RBA part.
I will say that the stock heads/coils should handle it no problem, and if you get a the newer v2 version, the new RBA section should handle it also.
If you get the older RBA section then to be on the safe side I'd say no because the juice holes are tiny.
None of that affects you until you want to use the RBA parts though (RBA = Rebuildable).

Maybe someone else could weigh in on the stock coils with 100% VG?
