Paypal problem

    Hey,

So I was ordering a charger online and it brought me to the payment section which was Paypal, but seeing as I don't have a Paypal account I was entering my debit card details and an error came up saying "the card you entered cannot be used for this payment, please enter a different credit or debit card number". My debit card is relatively new, I've probably only bought one or two other things online with it, not from Paypal. I then entered my bf's card details, and I think he does have a Paypal account, but it accepted his card fine. I googled the problem and one of the reasons could have been because the card didn't match the name or whatever, but as I said I don't have an account and the only other details I put in was my address and name.

Does anyone know how I can contact Paypal about this or something? It's not the biggest of deals but I don't want it stopping me from buying online in future. Thanks for any help

Sometimes it is solved by clearing cookies , especially in chrome.

but you should try again in firefox , and you may have better luck

Set up an account, you can then verify your card wth a test €1.50 transaction. This should prevent any issues with your bank/card provider preventing the transaction.
