Garmin Edge 25 problems

    I took my newly purchased Garmin Edge 25 out for its first proper spin today. All went well until I was prompted to update the device. I thought it odd that it would dump all my settings but I presumed a re-sync would load them all back up.But, now it will not pair with my smart phone.
    Are there any known issues with this?

    If it's reset during the process you have to re pair everything. Shouldn't be to much hassle

    Well after over an hour of un pairing, forget device, pairing etc etc I finally got them talking to each other again. Im not sure what I did that worked though :confused:

    Unpair from phone
    Remove from Garmin
    Then good to setup again

    Yeah thats more or less the fix, except I had to do it 2 or 3 times before it worked.
    It refused to pair to my HRM afterwards but I see it does actually register a heart beat from somewhere.
