    Hello all,

I have one each of the above turntables...very vintage at this stage but in good condition in the original boxes (they're 110V).

Are they of any use for DJ'ing?

    Thanks in advance.

    David

As long as they both have pitch control there's no reason they couldn't be used. I see the SL-1300 has a pitch range of 10% or 20% depending on whether its the MK1 or MKII. Not sure about the 230 although it seems to be a belt-drive. Not the easiest to Dj with a belt as the pitch wouldn't be as steady and your torque will be down on a direct drive.
