I will be starting work shortly on my house, it is currently about 1600 Sq ft, I will be building on an ICF extension of about 800 Sq ft (2 storey) with an ICF roof and foundation, the current house has no heating what so ever. I will be using 100mm external insulation on the outer walls. I haven't decided on what windows to use yet.
I am not a fan of underfloor heating so other than that what ideas/suggestions can people give me to use as my heating source. Thanks in advance.

Get a heat demand / load calc done. Only then can anybody suggest the best way of supplying the required level of heating.

And, while you're at it, investigate getting 200mm ewi and wrapping the new window frames in the ewi plus air tightening the windows.
