Anyone here bring in an MG6?

How difficult would servicing be on a car like this? Is there even an MG dealer in Ireland these days?

I think the car looks pretty good then again I've only seen one online!

I think the seat garage in blanchardstown briefly tried selling them?

Revenue vrt calculator gives one option, a tse gt petrol, whether that's because someone actually regged One or just enquires is unknown to me.

Vrt and OMSP figures for the laugh
    Original OMSP €27535

    2012 €4072 OMSP €13575
    2011 €3497 OMSP €11658
    2010 €3120 OMSP €10400

    That's based in a 1.8 petrol and a co2 figure of 174

    Annual road tax €750

Beep beep.ie doesn't list any reg figures for them and there are none on donedeal.

The UK MG website puts the 1.9 Diesel (1849 really it seems) at 119g CO2 which would pull down the VRT and annual road tax a bit.

That said if there are none in the country there is probably a good reason why!

Apart from some hardcore fans on aronline, who tbh would coo over an MG badge engineered Lada -I've never seen any glowing reviews

I lost all interest in them after seeing one in the flesh, just cheap and badly proportioned. The 3 is better but still fairly dated looking.

    I know someone who imported one. Won a Clio or something, sold it and bought one;

I'm an mg/rover enthusiast but have zero interest in those new mgs. The Brm and 220 tomcat were far superior cars 20+ yrs ago.

MG now stands for "Modern Gentlemen"
    Seriously.
