Hidden connection problems

I'm having some connection problems that I can't figure out. I'm with UPC, getting a constant 6ping/240mbps down/25mbps up, wired connection. My internet seems fine, but it's not connecting to a lot of stuff, having real trouble connecting to all kinds of servers, Steam, Battle.net, Skype (somtimes). Webpages load slower…

I'm having some connection problems that I can't figure out. I'm with UPC, getting a constant 6ping/240mbps down/25mbps up, wired connection. My internet seems fine, but it's not connecting to a lot of stuff, having real trouble connecting to all kinds of servers, Steam, Battle.net, Skype (somtimes). Webpages load slower then they should, yet my connection remains seemingly fine on any tests.

It started a couple days ago, possibly around the time of those power outages around Dublin, but I'm not 100% sure on that, I don't know if that could have done anything. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Or any other ways I can get a better idea of what's going on.
