New Suzuki SX4 S-Cross

Someone I know has their heart set on a new one. The old Sx4 looked small, is this much bigger? Is it smaller than, say, a Qashqai? What are similar or bigger sized alternatives for the money? Any issues with the 1.6 petrol - I would imagine it's slow enough.

Cheers, but looking at the website, it suggests that the S-Cross has a lenegth of 4300mm and wheelbase of 2600mm vs the Vitara length of 4175mm and wheelbase of 2500mm. The Vitara is 10mm wider. Is the Vitara roomier inside?

its got a bigger boot but the cabin is smaller.

I can't see how people buy s-crosses tbh
