    Is brown CM spotting?
    Is pink CM spotting?
Or does spotting mean you have to pass blood?
    Thanks.

Do you mean cervical mucus? Or spotting?

Cervical mucus changes depending on the stage of your cycle. Around the time of ovulation: egg white cervical mucus is the most fertile of all CM types because it allows the sperm to swim easily into the cervix. Its consistency is similar to raw egg whites.

Thanks I just can't seem to explain myself here. I'm talking about cervical mucus. If it's pink it suggests to me that there may be a bit of new blood. If it's brown it suggests a bit of old blood. I'm wondering dies either classify as spotting or do you have to pass blood. I have FF and I never know whether to tick spotting in this case or not.

I'd class anything that not, clear / white / cream as spotting. But also if there is persistent spotting I'd recommend consulting a GP. It could be an infection or something else underlying

I only had four days of tinted cm once /day after bowel motion but also around possible implantation time. Nothing since. I didn't think that counted as spotting. Thanks.

I wouldn't class pink tinted cm as spotting. To me spotting is like the beginning of a period, the colour is quite dark.
