Getting some insurance quotes and being asked 'are mortice locks' fitted.

I have PVC doors back and front, the ones which you push up the handle and then turn the key to lock.

Does this meet the requirement of having 'mortice locks' or not.

I would think you would want anti-snap anti bump barrells fitted as a minimum

Euro type cylinders fitted on most of these doors are absolute rubbish and can be snapped/drilled/bumped and by passed within 10-20 seconds.

Check out abs locks as its a DIY easy swap out of barrels.

Check with your insurance if they are looking for extra but even so best locks that can be got that one can afford should be fitted.

OP For the insurance that is a mortice look as in it is morticed into the door unlike a night latch which is surface mounted.

that's is exactly what I was thinking, and also the front door is a 5 point locking system, so that surely must beat the likes of this.
