    Hi all,

Just have a query on Mb. I'm due to take leave next april. I've been working with my current employer since March on pt basis and full time paying prsi from April till end of sept. Returning to pt in October till March 2016. My previous job was also pt for 2.5 years paying no prsi as my income was to low.

Will I qualify for mb ?
also, does your employers prsi contribution count if you aren't earning enough.

    Many thanks X

I suggest you get a copy of your prsi payments. There's a link on the welfare website, you fill in a form and it arrived a few weeks later.

Then you can see if you might get it.

You can apply after 16 weeks so apply as soon as you can. Once you apply you can call may benefit section they are very helpful.

as long as you earned more than 38 euro per week then you get a stamp for that week. If I remember correctly the recon-able year to claim MB in 2016 would be 2014. check out citizens info and add up your weeks. As suggested above get a statement of PRSI records
