I'm looking to get some recommendations for my brother who wants to upgrade his GPU. At the moment the upgrade is just to play Rocket League but he will want to play more in the future.

The PC currently has an AMD Phenom II x6 1035t processor, an NVidia GeForce 315 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. Power supply is 300 watt. The monitor can only use VGA and has a max resolution of 1920x1080. I've attached pictures of the Power Supply and the available motherboard slots.

His budget is a max of €100. Thanks for your suggestions

Something like a GTX570 or a HD7770 would be an upgrade for him, should be about €50-60 second hand.

570 is too much for a 300 supply, and that 1035 is power hungry. If the budgets 100, might as well get a new gtx750. Hd7770 is a decent card for what you'd pick it up for now but for 40 more the 750 is much faster, uses less power and you'd have a full warranty.

Thanks guys, I'll look into the GTX 750. Would this be compatible? http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00JXLXSF6/sr=8-9/qid=1442247533/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=&qid=1442247533&sr=8-9 And would it work with the 300w psu?

That link is showing as £100 but it's £80 from amazon if you click other sellers.

Yeah that's grand. Should be fine on a 300w
