    Hi Folks,

I'd like to put together a turbo trainer wheel - my question is this, the bike is full ultegra with an 11 speed ultegra cassette - do I need the same for the trainer wheel?

    Cheers,

    ILF

p.s. second bike not an option :)

You don't need an ultegra back wheel, but you do need 11 speed cassette, 105 is 17 quid cheaper than ultegra on CRC for example.

Also, Campagnolo 11 speed is the same spacing as Shimano/Sram, so that's another option if you're looking....
