replacing built in laptop battery

    Hi Guys,

    I need some help i have a gigabyte u2442v which is about 3 years old but stilla great machine

    16gb RAM

    2 ssds decent processor separate GPU and is perfect in every way for what i need (light CAD, media server and office suite)

    the problem is that the battery is clapped out and gigabyte wont sell me a replacement and wants to ship to the uk charge me 200e to replace it.

    does anyone have alternative? can you replace these things with another type of battery?
