I was just wondering if you guys would recommend buying this version of the carerra TDF. i have read reviews and posts but most refer to the older model and i was wondering if there are many differences between the models. I read on a review that the older model is of superior quality to the newer model but i just want to ask what opinions people have here on whether is is worth the money or not.

Depends on what you want to use the bike for, distance etc and what youre expectations are.Personally Id go to the shops on it or up to the pitches for football training, but I wouldn't do a charity cycle on it.Its crude, rude and heavy but it might suit some folks.

Have one 3 years now and do two long spins a week 60 - 100 km and shorter ones when I can fit them in. Done loads of sportives the longest was 160km, great bike for starting out on, its bit limited in the gearing when on steep climbs overall good value for money.
