    handbrake warning light is showing on dash of 08 ford galaxy even though handbrake is off

    It's actually your brake system warning light IE. Low brake fluid, stop light bulb gone, or low brake pads warning also!

    I have the abs light on too, would they be connected and when car is switched off theres is a constant hum coming from the vehicle only stopping when battery is disconnected

    They are almost certainly linked. As mentioned above the handbrake light has multiple functions and is designed to grab your attention. A diagnostic plug in would be the way forward here.

    I got smax with same problem and if you put foot on brake you can feel the vibration, what is that
