Check your Batteries

Early last week one of the Carbon Monoxide alarms started to "beep" to warn that the batteries were nearing the end of their day.
Irritated with the constant warning BEEP I pulled the device from the wall, and tossed the wasted batteries on the table - stupid thing to do
By chance one of the smoke alarms also BEEPED this evening which I am thankful for.
A timely reminder to check the status of your Smoke/CO alarms and replenish batteries of same.
A few euro's spent of batteries is well spent.
    Keep safe this Winter.

After posting above and hearing the "beeps" in the house, youngest arrived home with a 12 pack of AA's and a 3 pack of PLU5 ? - 9v square batteries that fit in modern smoke alarms.

They are wired in here. No batteries.

Your dead right. You don't want to have your life put in endanger by a defective battery.

    Radon is another one.
