Remember to create a new coach and not use an active one or legend.

A pre season fixture thread will be up shortly as will a free agent thread so remember not to pick anyone up(unless your below the minimum for a position just take the worst player there).

I believe all the league settings are correct but if someone wants to double check,that be great.

Also changing players position off the cards for now.Only change via the depth chart.

I'm still waiting for my copy of the game. Apparently it may not arrive either, so I've downloaded the EA Access trial and I'll join the league and do the transactions, then if my game doesn't arrive in a week or so I'll buy a copy.

I don't going as far as week 4 preseason as what I have seen it only affects ref season advancement

I've been thinking about that myself but I mean how bad would it be if we went halfway through a season and the whole thing reset on us?
Although a possible workaround for that would be to sim the results(I think you can pick who wins) and turn off injuries but thats hardly ideal.

Pro 8 is thinking of advancing tonight that should let us see if its totally random or every CFM league problem

Theres a patch out next week according to the madden guy on twitter, would advancing to regular season to see what happens be such a big deal for this league with so few players

See that now, there's talk that some leagues might have to restart and use week 3 rosters or pre season ones, say if you have the saints or Colts would your ratings drop slightly and if your the rams or jets would they increase with the week 3 roster??

Well I'm not sure if that would be a huge help as I think it you that was saying that you read some guys got reset in week 3 or 4,plus people will want to make their cuts to 53.
Also seeing now that leagues may have to restart.

Twas me that said that about week 3-4 alright, but from what iv'e read, it doesnt seem like its every franchise effected, you could be lucky and be one of those thats not, but your'e right, its better to be safe then sorry i suppose.

Iv'e only played madden regularly since madden 13, but his madden does indeed look very glitchy compared to the last couple

Yeah but some leagues got to week 3 or 4, but like i said, its not every league thats effected, im not even sure the patch next week is for this problem, he was asked again about the resetting last night and said they were still investigating and would update when he had something to say.

Which means he having coffee and scratching his head not knowing what caused it or how to fix it, that's the risk we could get all the way to week 9 and it could reset

Appartenly another possible bug going around involving the resigning of your players or so the guys on pfl are saying.

I noticed this offline a few weeks ago, signed 2 players, then the rest wouldnt sign, maxed out 20m in cap on one player, and he still wouldnt sign.

I noticed something fun offline this week aswell had 40 mill cap space signed weddle and green and no one else would sign, and I offering them double what they asked, serious bugs with this

Gameplay wise, it's easily the best ever IMO. Just so frustrating that the leap they've taken gameplay wise is negated by the amount of bugs.

Gameplay wise yeah, very good, although the QB is still throwing picks to safeties, while the WR is on a slant wide open is still a pain for me.

Bug wise its ridiculous, not only is there franchise problems, but i see lads complaining about blitzing now, and all the lads are saying is thanks for making us aware or we are aware and investigating.

Oh some guys are complaining about some sort blitzes and not been able to get to the QB, and theres apparantly a patch coming for that to.

Edit: Actually after reading more on this, its a case of something about nothing, its about nano blitzing

Interesting,personally from what I've played I've had no problem getting pressure on the QB,although I'm not picking any specific blitz's.
And I think the pass protection is way better than last year,I hope they don't mess around with that too much.

Here's my story guys.

I may not be getting a copy, I won't know unless one arrives on my desk, so I won't have Madden unless I buy it at some stage, which may not be for a while. I have the 10 hours of EA Access, so if someone sends me another invite I can join the league, play like 9 hours worth of my games, and then hopefully get a full copy at some point.

Sorry for that, I was told a copy was on the way.

That'll still give you 6 games or so in the league, so hopefully you can have it sorted out in a few weeks.

At the very worst, you can get all the divisional, or perhaps even conference, games in anyway, and sim CPU.

GAMEPLAY

• Addressed issue where if a team called a time out on the safety punt, they would then be able to kick a regular kickoff
• Addressed issue where sometimes a defender would have a poor pursuit angle toward the ball carrier if the ball carrier was breaking a tackle during a catch
• Addressed issue where sometimes defensive linemen would freeze for the remainder of the play after being knocked to the ground
• Addressed issue where the defense would not adjust alignment if the CPU controlled offensive team enacted a concept audible
• Updated Individual Coverage adjustments to not only affect the pre-snap shading but also the post play leverage technique
• Addressed issue where adjusting the ZONE shading would have an effect on the defenders drop location instead of just the leverage technique
• Addressed issue where cancelling a PA Fake would allow for a 1-step drop on certain plays
• Addressed issue where the game clock would be restarted of a declined penalty after an incomplete pass
• Addressed issue where safeties in Cover 4 Deep assignments were reacting to run too quickly

CONNECTED FRANCHISE

• Addressed issue where defensive holding slider would reset when exiting the screen
• Addressed issue where accelerated clock would not work in H2H CFM games
• Addressed issue where visual feedback settings were pulling from the user’s profile instead of league settings
• Addressed issue where some settings would carry back to the FE after playing a CFM game
• Addressed issue where the CPU would retain an empty roster spot when simming to the regular season when there is a player on Injured Reserve (note: changes aren’t reflected until after your current season is finished)
• Addressed issue where the user could not sort player while in the Fantasy draft board
• Removed Kick Return as a scoutable trait (note: changes won’t be reflected until after your current season is finished)
• CFM Trade tuning
• Addressed issue in CFM H2H where uniforms would change back to default home/away even after changing them in the team select screen
• Addressed a rare issue that caused some Franchise files to be corrupted, preventing players from accessing their CFM (note: this won’t repair already corrupted files, and only prevents future occurrences)

MADDEN ULTIMATE TEAM

• MUT Play a Friend quarter length boosted to four minutes from two minutes
• In MUT H2H Seasons and Draft Champions H2H Draft, terminating the game during the load screen will give the quitter a loss and the opponent a win. In MUT, Contracts will still be removed.

OTHER

• Play Now games were using regular season overtime rules rather than playoff overtime rules (removed possibility for ties)
• Addressed issue in online games where the defensive timer would run out during a pause causing the game to auto pick the defensive play
• Addressed over 100 general bug and stability issues

@Judgebredd I would keep going if you aren't running into any major issues. None of the leagues I play in are restarting.

I had noticed that cover 4 was far better against the run in a lot of scenarios than perhaps it should have been.

Interested to see what its like now.

Tried re-signing a few players there, no luck apart from the punter, the rest turned down quite large offers compared to what they wanted.
