I have just completed my honours degree in Business Administration and have seriously been considering applying to do the hdip to teach business studies(and possibly computers). I'm not sure if my course even qualifies me to apply for this. I have checked the teaching council website and my course is not listed, I'm wondering if there would be any way around this? I have emailed the career guidance councillors at the college I attended but haven't received a response. Can anyone help me?

You generally need a degree with includes 60 ECTS in a subject to teach it plus a masters in education (hdip) which takes 2 years now.

Best to contact a college that teaches a hDip and ask them to confirm if they'll accept you!
    Congrats on finishing :)
