Troubleshooting help?

    Folks,

Seems that I am losing reception on higher frequency and verticals.

Now I am in the midst of troubleshooting this and I have swapped LNBs.
It is unlikely that 2 diseqc switches have failed and this leaves me looking at my receiver, but again surely its unlikely that 2 tuners have faile with the same symptom? No?
I have probably 6 points of failure in the setup(3 for each tuner) in the LNB, The Diseqc switch, The cables and connectors, and the tuners.
I'm hoping it may be water ingress in the cable and a cheap fix but anyway to confirm this will be appreciated.
Anybody know a quick way to rule out the box aside from trying a different dish?
I am having an issue with it now being unable to achieve tuner lock for autobouquets or to download the EPG via crossepg.
Any ideas before I go taking it all apart?

whats the make of box? And did you run a new cable direct from dish to box? rain can run down cable and corrode internal core. it sounds like box or has dish moved ever so slightly

    or any big trees

Box is a vu duo original but with a new caps on the power supply.
Haven't run a cable direct yet as I havent got any spare coax around at the moment but it will be my next step.
Line of sight and alignment are good. Checked alignment via the app and peaked on Vintage TV but still no channels over @11.7
Will try a direct run to the LNB later if I can find enough coax.

Autobouquets works off the second tuner, however if you disable the second tuner and it will run and download via the first tuner only...

dont forget to try a reflash of image

Reflash was 1st thing tried, both a known good backup and a clean install when problem persisted.
No joy with autobouquets in any tuner mode, and scan is only pulling 770 services from 28.2.
Next step is to swap out the cables and hope ;)

Have it narrowed down to a combination of 1 failed lnb and a diseqc switch.
Time to start hunting for some new bits n bobs
    Thanks for the help lads
