Sluggish and slower after service

    Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong section.

Got my car serviced yesterday (1.6 diesel with turbo) and the usual replaced - oil, air filter, fuel filter etc

Today while driving I noticed that it is slow to speed up and also the max speed is around 120kph (foot to the floor) and slows down on hills. The revs also won't go as high as before.

I'm not sure what a service could do to cause this but It was fine yesterday morning on the way to the garage.

Anyone have any suggestions? I will be contacting the garage on Monday

    Thanks

Is there any lights on in the dash?

It's possible they left a plug on a sensor or the air flow meter disconnected.

Its probably something simple. Go back and ask them to check.

No lights on the dash but i noticed its in a limp mode of sort (wont go above 3k rpm). Scanning it with a odb device there are 2 errors

    P0113 and P0101

Hopefully its just something not connected up right

That's air flow sensor. Check to see of they plugged it back in.

Same thing happened me after service. Took it back and they said the filter needed changing. It was okay after that but it was kind of odd that it only happened after they'd serviced it

Thanks for all the help, I had a look yesterday and found a wire that was not connected. Put it back in and cleared the error codes and cars back to normal

    Shoddy work.
    No road test after service.
