    I always wanted to join the archery one, but every single year it clashes with my classes! Fingers crossed for this year.

    I would recommend the Mental Health Society and the SVP society. And the Classics one too (but I'm biased cause I like Classics).

    It really depends on what your interests are. It is hard to know as well how active a club and in particular a society will be before the start of the year, a lot depends on the committee. Sure you can always re-establish or set up a new society, you will get plenty of support from the SU to do so.

    If there is a society based around your subject or subjects, I would recommend even going to a few meetings at the start of the year just to get to know some of your year and to get the know some of the other years. Also don't be afraid to join up with a club or society later on the year or any stage, you'll never be turned away.
