Moved house, continue to be billed

    Hi, 

    I moved home on 1 June 2015, and I moved into a home that is already registered with Irish Water and has paid. I contacted Irish Water three times by phone to tell them about my move and to ask for my account to be closed. On the third time, the representative changed my address so that I could receive my final bill, and he assured me that I would only be billed for water usage for my old address for April and May.

    A couple weeks ago, I received a full water bill (1 April - 30 June). When I logon to the Irish Water site, I am still registered at the old address (though my new address is listed under Manage Personal Details). I have no issue with paying for April and May (and I have paid for both of those months), but I will not pay for water usage for my old apartment for June because I was no longer living in that apartment during that month (as I explained to three representatives previously). I contacted Irish Water again regarding this issue (this time via email), and I have not heard back.

    Can you please adjust my bill and then close my account?

    I'm still waiting for a response from Irish Water in response to my query. I was told on Monday by your representative, Mairead, that I would receive a call from Irish Water, but I still haven't heard anything.

    How many times do I have to contact Irish Water to ensure that I'm no longer billed for an apartment where I no longer live? I originally contacted you when I moved, and more than three months later, I'm still dealing with the matter.
