Import car, wrong information in registration certificate

    Hello,
I imported my car here and I just finished registering, insuring, taxing it etc...

When I registered it I provided the original registration certificate, a translation to English of it, and I had to review a copy of what the person at the desk put in the system.

Everything looked good, but now that I received my vehicle registration certificate, I see that the power (P.2) reports "118HP".

Does that mean 118 horse power? Even if the label for P.2 states "Engine Max. Net Power (kw)"?

In the original certificate the power was specified in kw, and there was no mention of power in the copy I reviewed, a simple A4 paper. Also I wasn't asked anything about it. In the original cert. it was even labeled the same (P.2) and it was 66 kw. Which means 90HP, or 89HP.

Is it easy to amend this detail in my certificate? And what could happen if I leave it as it is? I'm insured for a 90hp car! And the car is actually 90hp. I'm also due NCT immediately, but I read around the certificate isn't always asked.

    Thank you! :D

Is it right to fill the form RF111? I saw that's to require changes to the registration certificate, but it says it must be used when something was actually changed in the car (engine, etc...) while here is just a mistake.

I found the right form I think, VRT19

    http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/vrt/forms/rosvrt19.pdf

But it's unclear if I need to go to a mechanic and get my car inspected to have the form stamped or if it's not necessary.
